What Can and Cannot Be Changed

Hibu Policy (Non-Negotiable)
Hibu One Homepage and Category Landing Pages follow the same standardized layout model and defined section order governed by the Hibu One Website Layout Standards.
Both page types use the same structural framework. This layout may not be redesigned, rebuilt, or reordered outside of the rules defined in this guide.
This document governs page structure and module behavior. For rules about what content belongs in each section, see the
Homepage & CAT Content Guidelines.
This guide establishes:
- Which elements are non-negotiable
- Which elements may be adjusted
- What client-provided elements may be added to the layout
- When layout requests may be considered
If any other document conflicts with this guide, this guide controls.
Why These Layout Standards Exist
Hibu One layouts are deliberate and performance-driven.
They are designed to maximize:
- Conversion
- Usability and visual clarity
- Search visibility and mobile performance
Section order, spacing, and element placement are intentional. White space, hierarchy, and call-to-action positioning directly support lead generation and user behavior.
Layout discipline works together with the
Hibu One Fair Use Policy – Media & Assets, which defines limits for images, videos, files, and third-party elements. These combined standards protect page speed, Core Web Vitals, SEO visibility, and overall performance — especially on mobile devices.
These standards ensure:
- Consistent expectations for clients
- Alignment between Sales and delivery teams
- A single reference point when layout or asset questions arise

Defined Section Order
Homepage and Category Landing Pages follow the same top-to-bottom section order.
The page begins with the Header and ends with the Footer and required policy elements.
By default, sections remain in this order.Limited repositioning of specific sections (such as Gallery, Coupons, or Brand Logos) may be permitted only where explicitly outlined in this guide.
Content, styling, and approved in-between elements may vary within sections where this guide allows.

Not all sections are required on every page. When included, they must appear in this order.

Important
- Sections may have approved style variations.
- Only sections explicitly identified in this guide may be repositioned.
- All other sections must remain in the defined sequence.
- Additional elements must not disrupt the approved layout flow.
*The placement of the Gallery varies depending on the PBN. On most sites, the Gallery appears after the Coupons section (if included).
Timing of Layout Requests
Layout and structural changes are not implemented during the initial build unless they are part of established platform standards.
After First Proof:
- Requests may be reviewed
- Adjustments must follow the allowances in this guide
- Structural redesign is not permitted
- This ensures consistency across all Hibu One sites while allowing controlled flexibility where approved.
