Hibu Digital Content Release Agreement
Hibu Digital Content Release Agreement
Effective Date: February 1, 2026
Last Updated: February 9, 2026
Definition
The Hibu Digital Content Release Agreement authorizes Hibu to collect, use, and reproduce content from
third-party websites or online sources not owned or controlled by the client for use in Hibu digital products, including websites, display ads, and social media campaigns.
This agreement is
not required for original content provided directly by the client.
(added 2/09/26)
When Required
This agreement is required only when a client requests the use of content, imagery, or materials sourced from a third-party website that is not owned or hosted by Hibu or the client.
- Clients providing original content, imagery, or text they own do not need to complete a Digital Content Release Agreement.
- Clients migrating from a legacy Hibu program or an existing Hibu Smart Site to a Hibu One Smart Site do not need to complete this form, as existing assets are already covered under Hibu’s original content permissions.
- If third-party content is requested for use and ownership or usage rights are not already established, a completed Digital Content Release Agreement is required before that material can be published.
Client Logo Exception
(added 2/09/26)
In limited cases, a client’s logo may be used before a signed Digital Content Release Agreement when there is reasonable, visible evidence that the client already owns and publicly uses the logo.
See
Client Logo Use Before Release Agreement for full criteria and documentation requirements.
Form Details
The agreement requests the following information:
- Business name and contact information

- The form is mobile-friendly and can be completed directly from a phone or tablet for convenience.
