Hibu Policy

Hibu One Smart Sites support the use of client-supplied third-party widgets that can be embedded using HTML, CSS, or JavaScript. The tools listed in this definition represent commonly used third-party widgets that are known to embed cleanly within Hibu One websites. Inclusion in this list does not imply endorsement, certification, or support by Hibu.

Clients are responsible for selecting, subscribing to, configuring, and maintaining any third-party service. Hibu implements the embed code provided by the client but does not manage or support the third-party platform itself.

Definition

Preferred Third-Party Widgets are externally hosted tools that provide common website functionality—such as scheduling, chat, calculators, maps, reviews, or forms—and can be embedded into a Hibu One Smart Site using client-supplied HTML or JavaScript code.

Purpose / Why It Matters

This definition provides Sales, Account Teams, and Process partners with a clear, centralized reference of third-party widgets that are commonly recommended and compatible with Hibu One Smart Sites. It helps set accurate expectations with clients while avoiding unsupported plugin-based or backend integrations.

General Guidelines

  • All third-party widgets are client-owned and require a separate subscription with the provider.
  • Clients must complete setup and configuration directly with the third-party provider.
  • Hibu implements widgets using embed code supplied by the client.
  • Hibu does not troubleshoot, customize, or guarantee the performance of third-party tools.
  • Widget functionality, availability, pricing, and features are controlled by the third-party provider and may change over time.
